What they need

You'll own every client from the day they book until their DJ takes over, and you'll build the system that does it.

We need excellence at three things: follow through, sell, build. Miss one and this job doesn't work.

FOLLOW THROUGH

A couple who just paid a deposit should never wonder what happens next. You call when you said you would, and every client hears back the same business day.

SELL

Ninety days before the event, most couples are ready to say yes. You see what they wanted on the sales call and didn't book, and you offer it. You carry a monthly add-on target, and we train you to hit it.

BUILD

You build our client pipeline in GoHighLevel, so every booked client moves through clear stages and gets the right email at the right time. AI drafts first replies to client email and text. You own that system and make it better.

THE CLIENT JOURNEY YOU OWN

  • The welcome call. Sales books each new client onto your calendar after the deposit. You celebrate their choice, set expectations, collect what we need, and book their next meetings.
  • Service vision meetings. Clients with ceremony musicians or a DJ and band hybrid get that vision meeting booked on the welcome call.
  • The 90-day vision call. You walk each client through the timeline for the next 90 days and tell them who their DJ is.
  • The add-on conversation. On the vision call, you compare what the client wanted with what they booked, and you offer what's missing.
  • The handoff to the DJ. You book each client's planning call with their DJ for 30 days before the event.

EVERY WEEK

  • Unsigned contracts. You follow up by phone until every client has signed, paid and reached their planning tools.
  • Calls and messages. You answer inbound calls, return every missed call, and make sure every email and text gets a same-day answer.
  • Clean records. You keep every client's stage in GoHighLevel correct, because our forecasts run on it.
  • Bookings and payments. You confirm each accepted quote landed in our booking system, and that every check and deposit sits on the right account.
  • Changes and concerns. You handle reschedules and first-line client concerns, with our sales manager as backup.
  • Venues and planners. You answer their questions on timelines and setup, and you send insurance certificates when a venue asks.
  • Vendor log. After every event, you collect each vendor who worked it, from the photographer to the planner and venue, so we can tag them when we post.
  • Photo permission. You reach the photographer for as many events as you can and get permission to share their photos, and every photo we use credits its photographer.
  • Raving fans. Your follow-up turns happy clients into reviews and referrals, against a client satisfaction target of 9.75 out of 10.

YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS

  • Learn the journey. Run welcome and vision calls next to the person in the seat today, then run them on your own.
  • Build the pipeline. By December 31, the GoHighLevel client pipeline and its emails are live, before our January booking rush.
  • Set your number. By day 90, your monthly add-on target is set from real numbers, with a plan to beat it.

THE HONEST PART

Most of this job is Monday to Friday, during the day. But couples work too, so some vision calls land in the late afternoon or evening. We'd rather you decide about that now than in month two.

YOU'RE A FIT IF

  • You'd rather pick up the phone than send a third email
  • You finish what you start, and you don't need reminding twice
  • You can sell without pushing, because you only offer what the client already said they wanted
  • Your instinct with a manual task is to automate it
  • You've used a CRM and can build automations in one, or learn fast
  • You've done real client-facing work: client success, account management, hospitality or events
  • You live in Missouri, Kansas or Arkansas

Nice to have: GoHighLevel, Freshdesk, DJ Event Planner or a weddings background.

COMPENSATION

$17.50 an hour, 30 hours a week. That's $27,300 a year.

  • Sales training from professional closers
  • Real AI tooling, and an AI engineer to build alongside
  • Autonomy to fix what you think is broken
