About the role
Classic Cover is a specialist motor insurance, which is part of New Zealand Underwriting agencies (NZUA). We’re specialists when it comes to insuring prized possessions. We’ve been protecting classic cars and unique vehicles since 1983. Our policies offer cover for classic cars, hot rods, muscle cars, modified vehicles, performance cars, race cars, prestige vehicles and motorcycles.

We’re a small, passionate team with a wealth of knowledge and a shared love for unique vehicles. We take pride in providing an outstanding, genuinely personal experience to every customer. We are looking for two new Client Support team members. One role is a permanent position, and the other is for 12 months fixed-term to support a period of increased business activity.

As a Client Support, you’ll be the friendly voice (and inbox) our clients turn to - from insurance experts to classic car lovers. You’ll thrive on delivering excellent service, staying on top of admin, and making sure our customers feel genuinely looked after.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:

• Managing customer interactions across phone, email and digital channels
• Quoting, upselling and cross selling our insurance products with confidence
• Staying on top of administrative tasks with accuracy and care
• Delivering professional, knowledgeable and efficient customer service
• Building strong, long-lasting relationships with our unique client base

What We’re Looking For:

• A warm, professional phone manner and the ability to build rapport quickly
• A strong background in call centre and/or customer service roles
• Confidence with computers and systems, and the ability to multitask with ease
• Exceptional time management and attention to detail
