What they need

Client Support Officer – Maroochy Home Assist

Maroochy Home Assist is a registered charity providing home modification and maintenance services to older people and people living with disability across the Sunshine Coast. We support more than 10,000 clients, and we’re constantly evolving.

The Role

This is a fast-paced, high-volume admin role. You’ll be the first point of contact for our clients, coordinating jobs, field officers, managing contractor communications, and keeping our finance and scheduling systems accurate and up to date. We need someone who works quickly, picks up new systems and processes fast, and gets through a heavy workload efficiently without letting quality slip.

It’s a varied role across several areas of the business, and you’ll need to hit the ground running. You’ll be part of a team that brings together a mix of personalities and working styles, and we value people who collaborate well and keep things moving together.

What You’ll Do

  • Handle a high volume of client calls and emails promptly and professionally
  • Coordinate bookings, service requests and contractor schedules, turning requests around quickly
  • Process accounts payable and receivable in MYOB accurately and on time
  • Prepare purchase orders, invoices and payment reconciliations to tight turnaround times
  • Keep client and financial records accurate and compliant with funding requirements
  • Provide general administrative support across multiple departments
  • Work cooperatively with colleagues across the organisation to keep things moving

What You’ll Bring

You’re organised, efficient and composed under pressure. You work at pace, learn quickly, and take ownership of your workload.

Essential

  • Demonstrated MYOB accounts payable experience
  • Experience in an administrative, scheduling or finance support role
  • Proven ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy environment, managing multiple competing deadlines
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly with minimal hand-holding
  • A genuine team player who gets along with a diverse mix of people and personalities, and communicates respectfully and constructively
  • A clear, professional phone manner and strong written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the discipline to keep it up at speed
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Desirable

  • Background in the building, trades or aged care sectors, or familiarity with scheduling systems

Why Join Us

  • Meaningful work with a real impact on our clients
  • Varied day-to-day work in a constantly evolving organisation
  • Stable employment with a respected local charity
