Climber/Bucket Operator

Marquis Tree Service is hiring a Climber/Bucket Operator to perform tree removals, pruning, trimming, and other tree care services. Responsibilities

• Climb trees using rope and saddle or operate aerial lift trucks to perform tree removals, pruning, and trimming.
• Operate bucket trucks, chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and other specialized tree service equipment using proper techniques and safety procedures.
• Participate in site assessments and safety briefings before work begins, and follow industry safety standards and company policies throughout each project.
• Coordinate with crew members and management, and communicate with clients about job details and progress.
• Inspect and maintain tools, trucks, and equipment to support safe, reliable operation.
• Document completed work and report incidents, hazards, and equipment issues.
• Respond to emergency tree work and storm damage cleanup, which may require working outside regular hours.

Qualifications

• 35 years of tree care experience.
• Strong knowledge of tree species, tree health, pruning techniques, and safe tree removal practices.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, job maps, and blueprints.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions and at heights.
• Valid driver's license; CDL Class A preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• ISA Certified Arborist or other relevant certifications are a plus.

Compensation

Competitive pay with opportunities to work 40+ hours per week, including overtime opportunities during storm cleanup and peak seasons.
