Clinic Assistant

What you'll be doing

• Greeting patients upon arrival and ensuring a warm, welcoming environment
• Managing patient check-in procedures and maintaining accurate patient records
• Scheduling appointments and managing the clinic's appointment system
• Handling administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and documentation
• Assisting clinical staff with patient preparation and basic clinical support as required
• Maintaining clinic cleanliness and ensuring a hygienic environment
• Processing patient payments and handling billing inquiries
• Answering telephone calls and responding to patient enquiries professionally
• Restocking medical supplies and equipment as needed
• Supporting the healthcare team with general administrative and operational duties

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification, with relevant healthcare or administrative certification preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with clinic management software
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Compassion and empathy for patients, with a patient-focused approach
• Reliability and professional conduct at all times
• Previous experience in a healthcare or clinic setting is advantageous
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workload demands
