Clinic Assistant

About the role

LS Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinic Assistant to join our team in LS Aesthetic Clinic Petaling Jaya. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in ensuring our clinic operates smoothly and efficiently whilst maintaining the highest standards of patient care. As a Clinic Assistant, you will be the friendly face that patients encounter, helping to create a welcoming and professional environment. You will support both clinical and administrative functions, directly contributing to the positive experience of every patient who walks through our doors.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting patients and managing the reception area to ensure a warm and organised welcome
• Scheduling and confirming patient appointments, maintaining accurate records in our clinic management system
• Assisting with patient registration and updating personal medical information
• Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are stocked and sanitised
• Supporting clinical staff during patient consultations and procedures as required
• Processing patient payments and managing billing inquiries in a professional manner
• Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all data protection and healthcare regulations
• Performing general administrative duties including filing, photocopying and data entry
• Assisting with clinic inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
• Providing basic patient education and answering general inquiries about our services

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification as a minimum requirement
• Previous experience in a healthcare, clinical or customer-facing environment is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and colleagues
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail in managing multiple tasks
• Proficiency in using computer systems and clinic management software
• A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care and support
• Reliability and punctuality with the ability to work as part of a dedicated team
• Basic understanding of medical terminology is advantageous
• Fluency in English and Malay; additional languages are a plus
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills within a healthcare setting
