About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Clinic Assistant to join our team at our Ang Mo Kio Central location. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic and delivering good patient experiences.

Key responsibilities

1. Greeting patients upon arrival and ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable in the clinic environment
2. Managing patient check-in procedures, including verifying personal details, insurance information and medical history
3. Scheduling and confirming patient appointments, whilst maintaining an organised appointment calendar
4. Handling patient enquiries via telephone, email and in person with professionalism and courtesy
5. Assisting clinical staff with patient preparation, examination room setup and basic clinical support
6. Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with patient privacy regulations and data protection requirements
7. Processing patient payments and managing billing enquiries using clinic software systems
8. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
9. Performing general administrative duties including filing, photocopying, ordering supplies and maintaining clinic cleanliness and organisation
10. Assisting with inventory management and stock control

1. Good communication skills to interact professionally with patients, healthcare professionals and colleagues
2. Able to prioritise and handle multiple tasks in a busy environment
3. Proficiency in using computer systems and clinic management software, with a willingness to learn
4. A compassionate and patient-focused attitude
5. Attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling patient records and confidential information
6. Reliability and integrity in maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations
7. Flexibility and adaptability when responding to changing clinic demands and priorities
