Clinic Assistant (Part Time)

About the role

This position requires supporting healthcare professionals, assisting with patient care, and ensuring seamless clinic operations. The role also involves consistent interaction with patients and staff to maintain exceptional service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform registration, appointment bookings, phone calls, emails etc. using clinic system

• Handle patient registration and coordinate patient flow

• Assist doctors during examinations and minor medical procedures

• Dispense medications accurately according to doctors' instructions and clinic protocols

• Maintain proper documentation of patient records in compliance with confidentiality and PDPA requirements

• Support general clinic operations and administrative duties as assigned

• Handle billing and cashiering duties, ensure transactions are processed efficiently and accurately

• Provide patients with information regarding clinic services, health packages, and general assistance

• Maintain basic cleanliness and hygiene of the clinic

• Work on rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required

About you

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to assist and interact with patients effectively and empathetically
• Proficiency in Receptionist Duties and appointment scheduling
• Understanding of Medical Terminology and ability to accurately document patient information
• Basic knowledge of Patient Care and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages commonly spoken in Singapore is a plus
• Previous experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is an advantage
• Certification or training in healthcare-related fields is beneficial
• Preferably 1-2 years or more experience will be highly favourable
• Available to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
