What they need
About the role
We’re looking for an experienced medical receptionist or clinic coordinator who is ready to step into practice management for our allied health clinic in Riverton.
This is a hands-on operations role. You’ll keep the clinic running smoothly day to day: bookings, patient experience, front desk, and the systems that sit behind them. If you’ve already run a busy medical or allied health reception and want more ownership, this is that role.
What you’ll do
- Manage day-to-day clinic operations so practitioners can focus on care
- Own the booking diary: new patients, follow-ups, recalls, and waitlist
- Lead front-desk customer service so patients feel welcomed, informed, and looked after
- Handle enquiries by phone, email, and online, and convert them into booked appointments
- Coordinate practitioner schedules, room use, and daily flow
- Support billing, payments, and basic accounts processes
- Keep patient records and clinic systems accurate and up to date
- Reduce no-shows with confirmations, reminders, and clear follow-up
- Flag issues early and help improve how the clinic runs
What we’re looking for
- Experience as a medical receptionist, practice coordinator, or similar in a medical or allied health setting
- Confident with patient bookings, phone manner, and face-to-face customer service
- Comfortable with clinic software (Cliniko, and CRM, training provided on our system)
- Organised, calm under pressure, and able to prioritise a busy day
- Right to work in Australia
Good to have
- Experience in chiropractic, physiotherapy, or multidisciplinary allied health
- Exposure to NDIS admin or private health claiming
- Supervising or training reception staff
- A current driver’s licence (Riverton-based; not essential)
What we offer
- A real step from reception into practice management, with profit-share of clinic
- Part-time to full-time hours, agreed around the clinic’s needs and your availability
- A supportive allied health team in Riverton
- Training on our systems and processes
- Competitive pay based on experience (discussed at interview)
Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
