Clinic Manager

Role Summary:

Lead clinic operations, workforce planning and service standards across the medical group. Strong performers may progress to Head Clinic Manager, overseeing Clinic Managers across multiple clinics.

Key Duties:

• Oversee daily operations, patient flow, appointments, billing, claims and service recovery.

• Plan doctor and clinic assistant staffing; prepare rosters, address coverage needs and support recruitment and onboarding.

• Train newly joined clinic assistants and maintain onboarding and training records.

• Draft, update and maintain clinic SOPs with doctors and clinical leaders; communicate changes and monitor implementation.

• Manage inventory and replenishment of medical supplies and clinic essentials; monitor expiry dates, storage, stock counts and wastage.

• Maintain equipment records and coordinate servicing, calibration, repairs and safety checks.

• Coordinate suppliers and vendors, track service and delivery issues, and support cost control.

• Monitor clinic performance, resolve operational issues and help standardise processes across clinics.

• Support compliance with approved clinical procedures, privacy, infection prevention and workplace safety requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

• At least 3 years’ experience in clinic operations, healthcare administration or a related field at a managerial level

• Experience supervising staff and coordinating schedules or workforce coverage.

• Strong organisation, communication, training and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with PLATO Clinic Management Systemn or other clinic appointment, billing or claims systems is an advantage.

• Able to handle patient information discreetly; healthcare administration or clinic-management training is an advantage.
