We are seeking an energetic and experienced Functional Medicine Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) who is passionate about wellness, functional medicine, and patient-centered care. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an innovative team where you will assist with both medical and holistic procedures and directly contribute to patients’ lifestyle transformations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enthusiastically greet and assist patients and guests
• Manage high volume patient flow for provider
• Perform Infrared neurological scans, Prowave, and Asyra scans for patients
• Responsible for scribing and updating all patient documentation in EHR charts for provider
• Educate patient regarding food sensitivities, chiropractic and supplement/care recommendations
• Administer and guide patients with care and chiropractic traction therapies
• Send patient referral thank you cards monthly
• Prep for FRW workshop bi-weekly
• Obtain current patient video/written testimonials monthly
• Refer new patients to Vitality
• Distribute staff Birthday & Anniversary cards
• Light cleaning of exam tables, treatment area, water plants
• Attend conference trainings or work community events as needed (some may require weekend travel)
• Cross train in medical assisting and additional tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience in functional medicine and/or chiropractic assisting is a strong plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Team-oriented, dependable, and enthusiastic
• Passion for health, nutrition, and patient transformation
• EMR experience preferred (training available)
