Clinical Assistant

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Assistant for an Allergy clinic. The ideal candidate will have a background in science and possess strong independent work and organization skills.

Responsibilities:

• Gather patient histories and vitals

• Communicate with patients of all ages and create a nurturing environment for pediatric patients

• Conduct allergy skin testing and pulmonary function tests accurately

• Assist in clinical maintenance, including opening and closing tasks, and supply organization

• Coordinate effectively with the healthcare team

• Perform PFTs and Immunotherapy shots as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field

• Excellent communication skills with both patients and coworkers

• Ability to multi-task and manage your time effectively

• Capable of working well under pressure and problem-solving

• Experience in injections preferred

• Education in medical terminology and immunology are an asset, but not mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
