Clinical Counselor

Full Job Description

Healing Waves Counselling is a private practice and we are looking for someone to join our team specializes in ADHD/Neurodiversity. We work from a “therapist-first” model where the counsellors have flexible scheduling and check-ins to ensure their own mental health is put first.

We are looking for a dedicated person with:

• Master’s Degree in Clinical or Counselling Psychology
• Has 2+ years of experience as an RCC
• Professional College membership or registration with a mental health association: BCACC
• Somatic attachment psychotherapy knowledge or education
• ADHD knowledge
• Available on evenings (3-8)

Candidate must have:

• Extensive ADHD knowledge
• Have over 1 year experience as an RCC (the time as an intern does not count)
• Somatic training

Salary: $85-130 per hour
