Clinical Director

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Director to lead our mental health and behavioral care programs. In this pivotal role, you will oversee clinical operations, ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, and foster a collaborative environment for our multidisciplinary team. Your leadership will drive excellence in clinical practices, compliance with healthcare regulations, and innovative treatment approaches. Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision and leadership to licensed clinicians, therapists, and support staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
• Oversee the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, and motivational interviewing.
• Manage patient assessments, intake processes, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing case management to deliver comprehensive mental health and behavioral services.
• Coordinate clinical team activities including group therapy sessions, child & family counseling, and crisis intervention to promote positive outcomes.
• Ensure accurate medical documentation, electronic health records (EHR) management, and compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality.
• Lead clinical research initiatives and data collection efforts to improve service quality and contribute to evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with families, schools, community agencies, and healthcare providers to support clients with neurodevelopmental disorders, co-occurring disorders, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and other disabilities.
• Maintain a focus on culturally competent care by working effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds while managing clinical operations efficiently.

Experience

• Proven management experience leading multidisciplinary clinical teams within behavioral health or mental health organizations.
• Extensive hands-on experience working with adults with mental health conditions, developmental disabilities, substance use disorders, or neurodevelopmental disorders.
• Demonstrated expertise in crisis management, crisis intervention techniques, and emergency response protocols.
• Strong background in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), social work practices, addiction counseling, child & family counseling, and trauma-informed care including PTSD treatment.
• Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems like EMR/EHR platforms; familiarity with CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), ICD-9/10; medical terminology; and medical documentation standards.
• Knowledge of working within HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and data security across all clinical activities.
• Prior involvement in clinical research or hospital-based settings is preferred; familiarity with pediatric care and special education environments is a plus.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
