Clinical Director

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Director to lead our behavioral health and mental health services. Duties

• Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to licensed clinicians, therapists, and support staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and professional standards.
• Oversee the development and implementation of treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and motivational interviewing.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and intake procedures for individuals across age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults.
• Lead clinical team meetings to coordinate care plans, review progress notes, and address complex cases involving co-occurring disorders or neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism spectrum disorder.
• Ensure accurate medical documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
• Manage crisis intervention situations effectively, providing guidance on crisis management protocols and ensuring immediate response when necessary.
• Collaborate with families, schools, community agencies, and healthcare providers to support holistic client care and facilitate case management services.
• Monitor clinical outcomes through data collection and research initiatives to improve service delivery and support clinical research efforts.

Experience

• Proven experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with mental health conditions, developmental disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders.
• Extensive background in mental health counseling, behavioral health interventions, addiction counseling, and social work practices.
• Demonstrated expertise in crisis management, crisis intervention techniques, and working with individuals experiencing PTSD or other trauma-related conditions.
• Supervisory experience leading multidisciplinary teams within clinical settings such as hospitals or community clinics.
• Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for medical records management; familiarity with CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology) and ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases).
• Strong understanding of medical terminology related to mental health diagnoses including ICD-10 codes; experience working with co-occurring substance use disorders is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of special education frameworks and working with families from diverse cultural backgrounds enhances your ability to deliver inclusive care.
• Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations using standardized tools; familiarity with research methodologies in behavioral health is a plus.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
