Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Director to lead our behavioral health and mental health adolescent services. Duties

• Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to therapists, counselors, and support staff, ensuring adherence to best practices in behavioral health care.
• Oversee patient assessment processes, including diagnostic evaluations and intake procedures, to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Lead the delivery of evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing across individual and group settings.
• Manage crisis intervention efforts, ensuring timely and effective responses to clients experiencing mental health or behavioral crises.
• Coordinate case management activities, including working with families, social workers, schools, and community agencies to support client progress.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards.
• Oversee clinical research initiatives and data collection efforts to enhance service quality and contribute to ongoing program development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling, or related mental health field; licensure required (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT).
• Extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism.
• Proven supervisory experience leading clinical teams within behavioral health or mental health settings.
• Strong knowledge of mental health conditions including co-occurring disorders, PTSD care, substance use disorders, and trauma-informed care practices.
• Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for documentation, patient records management, and medical coding (CPT/ICD/ICD-9/ICD coding).
• Excellent skills in crisis management, crisis intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques.
• Familiarity with special education processes and working with diverse cultural backgrounds to promote inclusive care.
• Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations using ICD coding standards while applying evidence-based treatment modalities such as psychotherapy and social work interventions.
• Exceptional communication skills for client interaction, family engagement, clinical team leadership, and community collaboration.
