Position Overview

The Balanced Therapy LLC is seeking a fully licensed therapist to join our growing practice as an independent contractor. You'll provide high-quality, ethical therapy services while building and maintaining your own caseload, with the flexibility of a contractor arrangement.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, ethical therapy services to clients
• Build and maintain an active caseload
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
• Maintain an active, unencumbered Florida license
• Meet all certification and continuing education requirements

Compensation

• $70–$90 per hour, depending on experience
• Contractor position (1099)

Qualifications

Required

• Active, unencumbered Florida license (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist)
• Must be fully licensed, no provisional or associate licenses
• Strong understanding of clinical documentation, ethical standards, and patient care practices

Preferred

• Spanish-speaking
• EMDR trained/certified
• Experience in private practice or group practice settings
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms (SimplePractice experience a plus)

Ideal Candidate

• Fully licensed and in good standing with the state of Florida
• Highly accountable, detail-oriented, and client-focused
• Comfortable working independently as a contractor
• Passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care
