  • Collaborate with external agencies such as managed care organizations to coordinate patient services effectively while maintaining high standards of medical management.
  • Participate in academic or executive leadership activities that enhance the program’s reputation as a center of excellence in community psychiatric support.

Experience

  • Post-residency clinical experience in psychiatry or related mental health fields with demonstrated supervising or managerial responsibilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of EMR/EHR systems for electronic health records management and medical research documentation.
  • Proven track record in hospital or community mental health settings with familiarity in healthcare management, practice management, and compliance oversight.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology concepts, and pharmacology related to psychiatric treatments.
  • Experience working within managed care frameworks while adhering to HIPAA regulations and drug enforcement policies.
  • Background in clinical research or quality improvement initiatives aimed at advancing mental health practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in academic or executive roles with the ability to supervise multidisciplinary teams effectively.
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes within healthcare organizations along with project management skills to oversee complex programs successfully.
