About the Role

We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Engineers to join our team in Kuala Lumpur and Penang.

In this role, you will work closely with surgeons and operating theatre teams, providing clinical and technical support for Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery procedures using advanced medical technologies, including intraoperative monitoring and surgical robotic systems.

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who are interested in combining engineering knowledge with hands-on clinical experience in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate medical devices and provide clinical and technical support during surgical procedures
• Monitor neurophysiological functions and assess spinal cord integrity during surgery
• Identify and promptly communicate significant intraoperative changes or events
• Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and interpretability of monitoring data
• Support the use of surgical robotic systems and other advanced medical technologies
• Perform medical device maintenance, including PPM / EST
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper archiving of monitoring data and documentation
• Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Travel to hospitals or healthcare facilities when required

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Electronics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities
• Able to work independently and perform well under pressure
• Willing to work in a clinical and operating theatre environment
• Possess own transport and willing to travel when required
