Clinical Instructor

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical instruction, supervision, and guidance to nursing students during clinical placements to ensure effective application of theoretical knowledge into nursing practice.
• Conduct clinical teaching, skills demonstrations, and classroom instruction in accordance with course objectives, curriculum requirements, and lesson plans.
• Supervise and evaluate students’ clinical performance, nursing skills competency, professional conduct, and achievement of learning outcomes.
• Guide students in delivering safe and effective patient care while ensuring compliance with nursing standards, clinical guidelines, and patient safety practices.
• Provide mentorship, feedback, and support to students to enhance their clinical skills, critical thinking, and professional development.
• Collaborate with faculty members and clinical placement partners to ensure effective coordination and delivery of clinical training.
• Maintain accurate documentation of students’ clinical attendance, assessments, and performance evaluations.
• Participate in academic activities, meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives related to nursing education.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field.
• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid practising certificate (where applicable).
• Minimum clinical experience in relevant nursing areas.
• Strong clinical knowledge and practical nursing skills.
• Good communication, teaching, and mentoring skills.
• Passionate about nursing education and student development.
• Ability to work collaboratively with academic teams and clinical partners.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM4,000.00 per month
