Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Clinical Instructor to join our healthcare education team. Duties

• Develop and deliver engaging clinical instruction tailored to diverse learner needs, emphasizing adult education principles and adult learning strategies.
• Supervise and precept nursing assistant students, and personnel during their practical training in nursing settings.
• Evaluate clinical performance through assessments, feedback sessions, and competency checks to ensure adherence to health regulation policies and IDPH standards.
• Facilitate training sessions on medical terminology,HIPAA compliance, and state healthcare regulations to promote best practices in patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate training programs that enhance clinical staff development and leadership skills.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities, patient care documentation,
• Stay current with healthcare industry trends, regulatory changes, and innovations in clinical instruction to continuously improve educational offerings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in longterm care is highly valued.
• Demonstrated expertise in pediatric care, home health services, or hospital settings with a strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Prior experience in teaching hospital environments or clinical staff training roles with a focus on adult education methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of health regulation policies including HIPAA and state healthcare regulations; familiarity with medical documentation standards is essential.
• Excellent communication skills for effective teaching, team leadership, and patient interaction; proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred for documentation purposes.
• Ability to lead training sessions on didactic to be proficient in.tje 21skills and clinical procedures.
• Leadership qualities with experience in precepting or nursing leadership roles; capable of motivating teams toward continuous improvement.
• Flexibility to adapt training approaches based on learner needs while maintaining compliance with healthcare standards.
