About the Role:

Paving the Way Multi-Service Institute in Washington, DC is looking for a passionate and driven Clinical Intern to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct client services under the supervision of a licensed clinical supervisor
• Conduct intake assessments, individual therapy sessions, and group counseling as assigned
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency standards
• Participate in regular clinical supervision, staff meetings, and case consultations
• Adhere to ethical guidelines, confidentiality standards, and HIPAA regulations
• Engage with community resources and assist in connecting clients to appropriate support services

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Master's or Doctoral program in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
• Completion of foundational clinical coursework prior to internship start
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse populations
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and demonstrate cultural competency
• Proficiency in clinical documentation and basic computer applications
• Commitment to social justice, trauma-informed care, and community wellness
• Must meet program requirements for supervised clinical hours
