About the role

Our Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Clinical Intern to join our dynamic healthcare team in Dasmarinas City, Cavite. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity for aspiring healthcare professionals to gain practical experience in clinical rehabilitation settings. As a Clinical Intern, you will work alongside experienced clinicians and medical professionals, contributing to patient care whilst developing your clinical skills in a supportive and educational environment. This role is integral to our commitment to providing comprehensive rehabilitation services and developing the next generation of clinical professionals in the healthcare sector.

Key responsibilities

• Assist qualified clinical staff in delivering patient care and rehabilitation services under direct supervision
• Conduct basic patient assessments and data collection as directed by supervising clinicians
• Participate in treatment sessions and patient rehabilitation programmes, documenting progress and observations
• Support clinical staff in preparing treatment areas, equipment and materials for patient sessions
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations and centre protocols
• Assist in patient education and provide encouragement to support their rehabilitation goals
• Observe and participate in clinical rounds, case discussions and team meetings to enhance learning
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and interdisciplinary team members
• Comply with all health and safety regulations, infection control procedures and ethical standards
• Support the general operations of the rehabilitation centre as requested

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in a clinical or health-related program (such as Physical Therapy, BS Psychology or related fields)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact compassionately with patients and healthcare professionals

• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation and records

• Physical capability to assist with patient handling and support, with willingness to learn proper techniques

• Reliability, punctuality and professional conduct in all work situations

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

• Genuine interest in rehabilitation, patient care and clinical learning

• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and administrative tasks
