Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Float

Role Overview: The Clinical Laboratory Technologist performs laboratory testing, instrument operation, quality control, and specimen processing in a high-volume clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate specimen acceptability and conduct routine and complex tests
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments
• Prepare reagents, controls, and perform quality control procedures
• Make technical decisions and resolve testing issues
• Report accurate test results while adhering to safety protocols

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
• At least 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience or a Master’s degree in Laboratory Science
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
