Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Laboratory Technician

It is anticipated the Lewis County General Hospital will have the following vacancy available:

POSITION: CLINICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST or LABORATORY TECHNICIAN -Casual

SHIFT: Flexible

SALARY RANGE: Technologist $38.27-50.43/hour 2026 Rates Technician $31.82-40.66/hour 2026 Rates

MINIMUM

QUALIFICATIONS: Technologist: Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered four-year college or university with a bachelors degree in medical technology. Technician: An associates degree from an approved clinical laboratory technician program registered by the NY Department of Education or determined by the department to be the substantial equivalent; and possession of current valid certification as a Clinical Laboratory Technician issued by the NY Department of Education.

This position will be filled in accordance with Civil Service Rules and Regulations.
