About the role
Advanced Dermatology, PLLC is looking for an experienced Clinical Manager to lead the clinical side of our busy general and surgical dermatology practice. Reporting to the Practice Administrator, you’ll run day-to-day clinical operations and supervise and develop our Medical Assistants and Surgical Assistants. You’ll work closely with our physicians to keep patient care excellent, workflows efficient and the practice fully compliant.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows dermatology workflows well and enjoys building a strong team.

What you’ll do

• Manage daily clinical operations, including patient flow, provider support and staffing coverage
• Supervise, coach and evaluate clinical staff, and lead hiring, onboarding and training
• Act as the go-to person for escalated clinical, staffing and patient care issues
• Develop and maintain clinical protocols, policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA and infection control standards, and run regular clinical audits and quality reviews
• Make sure staff are proficient in the EMR and documentation standards, and help roll out new technology
• Oversee clinical and surgical supply ordering, inventory and vendor relationships, and monitor department expenses
• Serve as the liaison between providers and clinical staff, and make data-driven recommendations for staffing, process improvement and growth

What we’re looking for

• At least 5 years of healthcare experience, including 2 or more years in a supervisory or management role
• Dermatology or specialty practice experience strongly preferred, including general and surgical workflows
• A bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, nursing or a related field is preferred; equivalent leadership experience will be considered
• Solid working knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, infection control and clinical compliance
• Comfort with EMR systems and clinical technology
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills, and the ability to stay steady in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
• Willingness to work hands-on in patient care areas when needed

Schedule
Monday through Friday, staggered shifts: 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. or 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. No nights or weekends.

Pay: $65,000 – $80,000 per year, based on experience
