Clinical Nurse Educator

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced nursing professor or senior nursing faculty member to provide ongoing clinical education and competency training for our nursing team.

The ideal candidate should come from a nursing school/institute and preferably have Home Health and/or Hospice experience. This will be an ongoing engagement, with the professor visiting our office approximately once or twice a month for classes, case discussions, and clinical judgment evaluations.

Key Training Areas

Anatomy & Body Systems: Anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and application to patient care.

Clinical Judgment: Patient assessment, recognizing changes in condition, prioritization, clinical reasoning, and decision-making.

Plan of Care: Developing and evaluating individualized plans based on clinical condition, functional limitations, skilled needs, and assessment findings.

Interventions & Goals: Connecting clinical problems to skilled interventions and developing measurable short- and long-term goals.

Homebound & Medical Necessity: Proper assessment and documentation supporting the need for skilled home health services.

OASIS: Clinical judgment when completing, reviewing, and evaluating OASISresponses and proposed changes.

Visit Utilization: Understanding appropriate visit frequency and utilization based on patient acuity, skilled needs, progress, and changes in condition**.**

Complex Clinical Care: Wounds, Foley, ostomy, PEG/tube feeding, IV therapy, infection, and other complex patient needs.

PT/OT/SLP: Deeper understanding of therapy assessments, treatments, goals, and how therapy integrates with the overall plan of care**.**

HH/Hospice: Practical application of Medicare requirements, Conditions of Participation (CoPs), documentation, and clinical standards.

Ideal Candidate

RN with a strong academic nursing background.

Current or former Professor/Associate Professor/Senior Faculty at a nursing school or institute.

Strong teaching and clinical judgment skills. Preferably experienced in Home Health and Hospice.

Knowledge of OASIS, Medicare requirements, documentation, and medical necessity. Able to teach using practical cases and evaluate nurses' clinical judgment and competency.

Goal of the Role To establish an ongoing clinical education program that strengthens nursing assessment, clinical judgment, documentation, plan of care development, and overall clinical competency.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
