Hey you!

genU is seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Practice Advisor to provide specialist practice coaching and guidance that strengthens workforce development and supports the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services.

This is a flexible hybrid, non-direct care role focused on empowering teams, driving best practice, and achieving exceptional outcomes for clients.

We have two incredible part-time opportunities available working a 5-day fortnight to support with work-life balance (ideally you're able to work on a Monday or Friday and we're happy for you to choose the other days that work best for you)!

At genU, we’re a profit-for-purpose organisation, reinvesting our success back into programs to create real social impact. From disability and aged care support to community-focused initiatives, we’re here to help people live their best lives.

What you’ll do

As a Clinical Practice Advisor, you’ll:

  • Manage clinical assessments and provide expert guidance to support safe, person-centred care for people with disability and ageing support needs.

  • Drive clinical governance and risk management, reviewing complex support plans, identifying risks, and ensuring best-practice service delivery.

  • Partner with operational teams and health professionals to support client onboarding, complex care planning, hospital discharge, and ongoing clinical support.

  • Build workforce capability through training, coaching, and education, while contributing to quality improvement initiatives that enhance client outcomes and service excellence.

What you’ll bring

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration, a Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) – essential.

  • Experienced clinician with 3+ years' nursing experience, strong assessment and care planning skills, and a sound understanding of the Australian healthcare and disability sectors.

  • Excellent communicator and collaborator with the ability to work autonomously, partner effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and build strong stakeholder relationships.

  • Highly organised and evidence-driven, with strong clinical judgment, a focus on continuous improvement, and the agility to thrive in a dynamic environment.

  • As travel is a requirement of this role, you must hold a current and valid driver’s licence.

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)

Why you’ll love working at genU

At genU, our differences make us stronger. We celebrate all kinds of diversity and the unique perspectives each of us brings.

We’re committed to creating a welcoming, safe, and respectful space where everyone feels valued and can thrive.

You’ll also get:

  • Flexibility - full time, part time, or job share plus hybrid working

  • Salary packaging- up to $15,900 tax-free plus meal/entertainment benefits

  • Purchased leave options - the ability to buy additional annual leave to support work-life balance and flexibility.

  • Wellbeing support - 24/7 access to a holistic employee assistance program

  • Referral bonus - bring great people with you and be rewarded

  • 15 days personal leave– 5 days extra to National Employment Standards*
