Clinical Practice Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of a healthcare practice. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in medical office management, healthcare administration, and team supervision. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of medical billing, compliance regulations, electronic health records systems, and financial management. The Practice Manager will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth functioning of clinical and administrative processes, fostering a patient-centered environment, and maintaining operational excellence. This position offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated healthcare team while ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall operations of the healthcare practice, including staff supervision, patient flow, and administrative workflows.
• Oversee financial aspects such as budgeting, billing, coding accuracy, and fiscal management to ensure profitability and cost efficiency.
• Supervise medical administrative support staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and human resources functions.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, JCAHO standards, and health regulation policies.
• Maintain proficiency with electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), patient management software, and EMR systems like Eaglesoft and Dentrix for accurate recordkeeping.
• Coordinate clinic activities with medical professionals to optimize patient care delivery in acute care or managed care settings.
• Implement quality assurance protocols related to medical records management, utilization management, and medical billing processes.
• Foster excellent customer service by addressing patient concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming environment for patients and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare practice management with demonstrated supervisory capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding procedures, and health regulation policies such as HIPAA compliance.
• Familiarity with Advanced MD EMR/EHR systems
• Experience in managing teams within a healthcare setting, including human resources functions and staff development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for administrative tasks and reporting purposes.
• In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations such as JCAHO standards and utilization management practices.
• Excellent managerial communication skills combined with customer service orientation to foster team cohesion and patient satisfaction.
• Background in nursing or acute care experience is advantageous; familiarity with mental health office operations is also beneficial.

Pay: $72,000.00 - $82,100.00 per year
