Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Social Worker to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health and behavioral care to diverse patient populations. Your expertise will support individuals facing mental health challenges, developmental disabilities, substance use disorders, and trauma-related conditions. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based interventions, conduct thorough assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans. Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations using clinical documentation standards and medical terminology to determine patient needs.
• Provide individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on mental health counseling, behavioral health, addiction counseling, or social skills development.
• Collaborate with fellow facilitators to ensure materials are relevant, accurate, and current.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with clinical confidentiality policies and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and compliance.
• Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management to support patients experiencing acute mental health or behavioral emergencies.
• Collaborate with medical professionals on psychiatric patient care, medication management, and psychopharmacology considerations when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation including patient care records, medical records, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), and data collection for clinical research purposes.

Skills

• Proven experience in psychotherapy, mental health assessments, and individual/group counseling across diverse populations.
• Expertise in motivational interviewing techniques and crisis intervention strategies to motivate change and stabilize patients during emergencies.
• Strong background in child & family counseling, special education, autism spectrum disorder interventions, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for efficient documentation; knowledge of medical records management compliant with HIPAA standards.
• Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders, PTSD care, Alzheimer’s care, geriatrics, or in hospital settings is highly desirable.
• Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9/ICD coding systems; experience with CPT coding for billing purposes is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams; sensitivity to working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Pay: $58,700.00 - $70,700.00 per year
