Clinical Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Clinical Supervisor to lead and support our behavioral health team in delivering exceptional patient care. This vital role involves overseeing clinical operations, mentoring staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for mental health and youths in a group home setting, demonstrating expertise in evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral management, and applied behavior analysis. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will play a key role in fostering a compassionate environment that promotes healing, growth, and positive outcomes for diverse populations, including children and individuals with behaviors.

Duties

*******Must have experience with working with youths /adults

• Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to licensed clinicians and behavioral specialists to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and intake procedures to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Oversee the implementation of therapeutic interventions including group therapy, child & family counseling, and behavioral therapy techniques such as applied behavior analysis.
• Manage crisis intervention efforts, including crisis management and PTSD care, ensuring safety and stabilization for clients experiencing acute episodes.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, medical records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
• Coordinate case management activities, including data collection, research participation, and clinical documentation using CPT coding and ICD coding systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across home & community care settings to facilitate seamless patient care and support services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field; licensure preferred.
• Proven experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or other behavioral health conditions.
• Strong knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral management strategies, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
• Experience in crisis intervention, crisis management, and working within hospital or clinical research environments is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems, HIPAA regulations, and medical documentation standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead group therapy sessions and provide individual counseling effectively.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while demonstrating empathy and cultural competence. Pay: $70,271.79 - $84,628.39 per year
