What they need

About the Role

Sonoran Learning and Behavioral Services (SLBS) is seeking BCBAs who demonstrate excellence in case management and possess the confidence and expertise to deliver exceptional client care. At SLBS, a BCBA embodies an entrepreneurial mindset, strong clinical judgment, and advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills across both clinical and leadership contexts.

Behavior Analysts at Sonoran are afforded the autonomy and flexibility to approach cases using evidence-based interventions tailored to each individual client. There are no cookie-cutter treatment models or rigid scheduling requirements imposed on clinicians when developing and implementing treatment plans for their assigned caseloads.

The BCBA / Clinical Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring treatment quality, staff competency, and a positive caregiver experience, while also meeting clinical service delivery and supervision expectations to drive meaningful client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Service Delivery

  • Manage an assigned client caseload, including assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing program oversight
  • Ensure individualized, data-driven, and evidence-based ABA treatment plans
  • Monitor client progress and adjust programming based on data and clinical needs
  • Support high-quality treatment implementation and ethical practice
  • Meet clinical service delivery targets

Caregiver Collaboration & Training

  • Partner with parents and caregivers to support skill generalization and long-term success
  • Provide caregiver training and coaching aligned with treatment goals
  • Promote caregiver engagement and participation in services

Documentation & Compliance

  • Complete timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress reports, and session notes
  • Ensure documentation meets payer, regulatory, and organizational standards

Supervision & Team Support

  • Supervise and coach RBTs/BTs
  • Provide ongoing performance feedback, skill development, and competency-based supervision
  • Conduct regular observations and modeling
  • Support RBT skill acquisition, professional growth, and adherence to treatment protocols
  • Work in conjunction with Clinical Support, Clinic Operations, and Clinical Director to ensure client needs are met and clinical quality is maintained across assigned caseload

Measures of Success

Success in this role will be evaluated by:

  • Client progress and achievement of treatment goals
  • Parent and caregiver satisfaction
  • Caregiver training participation and engagement
  • Timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Achievement of clinical service delivery and supervision targets

Why Join Us

  • Small, local, BCBA-led organization with a supportive, collaborative team
  • Full-time, in-person role with direct impact on client outcomes and staff development
  • Opportunities for professional growth and leadership development
  • Mission-driven organization committed to meaningful client impact as a private, local ABA provider focused on improving outcomes for our neighbors

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required
  • Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or a related field
