Clinical Supervisor – Multi-Site PPEC Operations

ChildrenFirst Health Care System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and oversight across multiple Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) centers in the greater Orlando area.

This is a hands-on, multi-site leadership position for a pediatric RN who enjoys developing teams, supporting medically complex children and families, and ensuring consistent, high-quality clinical care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight across multiple PPEC centers
• Conduct regular center rounds and maintain a visible leadership presence
• Support, coach, and develop PPEC Lead RNs
• Establish expectations and promote accountability across the centers
• Develop and oversee Plans of Care and required clinical documentation
• Coordinate and clinically review new patient admissions
• Ensure centers are prepared for each child's clinical needs
• Support staffing and scheduling based on census, acuity, and required ratios
• Assist with coverage and movement of staff between centers as needed
• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare providers
• Serve as a resource for parent and caregiver questions and concerns
• Support Lead RNs in resolving clinical and family concerns
• Provide clinical education, competencies, orientation, and staff training
• Participate in employee evaluations, coaching, performance management, and corrective action
• Identify clinical trends and opportunities for education and improvement
• Collaborate with Operations, Intake, Authorization, Therapy, Transportation, HR, and leadership
• Promote consistent clinical standards across all PPEC locations

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) required
• Current and unrestricted Florida RN license
• Pediatric nursing experience with medically complex and technology-dependent children required
• Clinical supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• PPEC experience strongly preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel between greater Orlando PPEC locations as needed
• Ability to successfully complete required background screening and fingerprinting
