Clinical Support Educator

Looking for a change from shift work without leaving nursing behind? Join our Workforce Development team and use your acute care experience to educate, support and inspire nurses while contributing to high-quality patient care across Bairnsdale Regional Health Service.

What You'll Do

• Deliver education, training and competency programs
• Provide clinical support and supervision to staff
• Support orientation and mandatory training requirements
• Assist nurses participating in workforce development programs
• Support implementation of clinical policies and practice changes
• Partner with clinical teams to build workforce capability
• Contribute to quality improvement and education initiatives

The Contract: Ongoing Part Time | 48 hours per fortnight

Skills & Experience:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 5 years recent acute clinical experience
• Clinical supervision, teaching and education experience
• Knowledge of teaching, assessment, feedback and coaching principles
• Postgraduate acute qualification; certificate 4 in Training, Assessment and Evaluation desirable
