Role Overview & Clinical Focus

In this role, you will provide comprehensive, trauma-informed behavioral health services to a diverse clientele. As a generalist clinician, you will work with individuals across various age groups and backgrounds. Your primary clinical focus will include:

• Mood and Anxiety Disorders: Supporting clients managing depression, generalized anxiety, panic, and stress.
• Trauma & Stressor-Related Concerns: Implementing trauma-informed care strategies for diverse populations.
• Life Transitions & Relationship Dynamics: Guiding individuals, couples, or families through major life shifts, grief, and interpersonal conflict.
• Personal Growth & Wellness: Helping clients explore identity, cultivate coping skills, and address burnout or body image concerns.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Assessments: Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to identify mental health needs, trauma history, and social determinants of health.
• Therapeutic Intervention: Deliver evidence-based individual, group, or family psychotherapy via telehealth, in-person sessions, or a hybrid model.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in our electronic health record (EHR) system in compliance with professional standards.
• Care Coordination: Collaborate with internal team members and external medical or psychiatric providers to ensure holistic, whole-person client care.
• Professional Engagement**:** Attend scheduled individual and group supervision, team meetings, and case consultations as requested.

Qualifications & Requirements

• License: Active, unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Rhode Island (Required).
• Experience: Proven experience providing trauma-informed mental health services to a broad range of demographics (e.g., adolescents, adults, families).
• Clinical Approach**:** Comfort working as a generalist with a varied caseload and adapting therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, ACT, etc.) to meet individual client needs.
• Skills**:** Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, excellent communication, familiarity with EHR systems, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 24.0 per week
