Overview

LFG Homes is looking for an in-house Closing Coordinator to guide our homebuyers from signed contract to closing day. You will be the buyer’s main point of contact after the sale, keeping them informed and on track while coordinating with lenders, title companies, closing attorneys, and our sales and construction teams. Most of your work will support new home sales, and you will also handle closings for other LFG transactions as needed. Responsibilities

• Take ownership of each buyer file at contract execution and manage it through closing.
• Serve as the buyer’s primary point of contact after contract, providing regular updates on construction progress, milestones, and next steps.
• Confirm contract details, deposits, addenda, and change orders are complete, accurate, and properly documented.
• Track key contract deadlines, including financing contingencies, loan approval, appraisal, and selections due dates.
• Coordinate with the buyer’s lender to monitor loan progress, appraisal, and clear-to-close status, and help resolve outstanding conditions.
• Order title work and coordinate with title companies and closing attorneys to schedule closings.
• Work with the construction team to track estimated completion dates, schedule pre-closing walkthroughs, and confirm punch items are complete before closing.
• Communicate realistic timelines to buyers and agents, confirming closing dates with construction and the lender before they are committed.
• Review settlement statements and Closing Disclosures for accuracy against the contract, including price, incentives, credits, and seller contributions.
• Collect and manage required documents, including certificates of occupancy, warranty paperwork, and HOA documents.
• Attend and run closings as needed, and support a smooth handoff to the warranty team after closing.
• Keep the CRM and closing pipeline reports current so leadership has accurate, real-time visibility into upcoming closings.
• Maintain complete, organized records for every transaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in real estate closings, title, transaction coordination, mortgage processing, or new home sales support.
• Working knowledge of the residential purchase process, including conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA financing.
• Familiarity with TRID requirements and Closing Disclosure timelines.
• Experience reading purchase contracts, addenda, and settlement statements.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage many files at different stages at once.
• Clear, professional communication with buyers, agents, lenders, and internal teams.
• Comfortable with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital document platforms.
• New construction experience preferred.
• Tennessee real estate license a plus but not required.

Pay: $49,000.00 - $69,100.00 per year
