Clothing Associate

Our Clothing associates provide amazing customer service that meets customers' needs and encourages them to make Grigg’s/ACE Hardware their store of choice.

Clothing Sales Associates will be “solving problems" for our customers. They will also assist with receiving, stocking, and pricing all merchandise, and help maintain a clean, orderly merchandise presentation and overall store cleanliness, while maintaining an energetic, friendly demeanor. Someone quick on their feet and detail-oriented will thrive in this position! Grigg’s provides a large assortment of clothing and shoes for women, children, and men!

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assist customers in a friendly manner to find the products they are looking for.

• Assist in creating a safe, professional work environment.

• Stock merchandise, maintain backstock, rotate stock, and clean shelves.

• Organize merchandise by style, size, and color.

• Assist in setting up signage for sales.

• Assist with regular store maintenance and cleaning of the sales floor, back rooms, and outdoor areas.

• Participate in store meetings.

• Backup cashier

• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Prompt attendance is required.

• Able to communicate professionally with customers, team members and upper management.

• Skilled at providing prompt, friendly, and attentive customer service. It is our Brand Promise.

• Strong attention to detail, organization and cleanliness is expected.

• Learn and exemplify the Helpful Ready policy of Grigg’s/ACE Hardware.

• Excellent physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy boxes that could exceed 40 pounds.

• Bilingual (Spanish) verbal and written communication skills are a benefit; however, not required.

Pay: $17.13/hr.

Schedule: Part-time, 20-30 hours per week. Workdays will vary, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Grigg's is a family-owned business operating in our community since 1939. In 1969, the Grigg family began its affiliation with ACE Hardware. ACE is the leader in the convenience segment of the home improvement industry. At Grigg's, we pride ourselves on meeting a variety of needs in our local community. Over the years, Grigg's ACE Hardware has donated over $100,000 to Sacred Heart Medical Center via Children's Miracle Network, Bikes for Tykes, and other local charities.
