Clothing Merchandiser

Job Overview:

The Clothing Merchandiser is responsible for coordinating with suppliers to ensure smooth product development and production. The role involves communicating with fabric and trim vendors, negotiating costs and delivery timelines, monitoring orders, and ensuring materials meet quality and specification standards. They work closely with internal teams to ensure products are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate directly with fabric and trim suppliers regarding pricing, availability, and delivery schedules
• Negotiate costs and terms with suppliers to meet company targets
• Source materials based on approved specifications and product requirements
• Monitor purchase orders and track material deliveries
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time shipment and resolve delays or issues
• Coordinate with design, production, and quality control teams to ensure accuracy of materials and product development
• Ensure all materials meet quality standards and approved specifications
• Maintain proper documentation of orders, supplier records, and costing details
• Assist in product development and sampling coordination when needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field
• Experience in garment merchandising or apparel production is an advantage
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to manage multiple suppliers and deadlines
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
