Responsibilities

• Operate pressing machines and garment care equipment efficiently to press clothing items accurately and smoothly.
• Ensure all garments are pressed according to fabric type, customer specifications, and company standards.
• Handle heavy lifting tasks safely when managing large or bulky items, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas by using appropriate cleaning detergents and adhering to hygiene protocols.
• Process cash transactions accurately when accepting payments for laundry or pressing services, ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
• Assist with garment finishing tasks such as folding, steaming, and inspecting garments for quality control.
• Support laundry and dry cleaning operations by sorting, processing, and preparing garments for pressing or delivery.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly desirable, especially with garment finishing or laundry services.
• Knowledge of garment care techniques including pressing, dry cleaning, and fabric handling is essential.
• Familiarity with pressing machines, garment care equipment, and laundry processes is preferred.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions and measuring fabrics accurately.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control and customer service excellence.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
