Cloud & DevOps Engineer (Banking) – Contract

Location: [UAE – location / hybrid]

Contract: [6 months, extendable]

Our client, a leading UAE bank, is modernizing how its applications are hosted, built and deployed. They need a Cloud & DevOps Engineer with real banking delivery experience.

What you’ll do

• Migrate banking applications from on-premises infrastructure to AWS or Azure
• Containerize applications using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
• Improve application resilience, monitoring and disaster recovery
• Work closely with application, security and infrastructure teams

What you’ll bring

• Hands-on experience on production cloud or infrastructure projects in a bank or regulated financial institution
• Strong skills in AWS and/or Azure, Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitLab or Azure DevOps, plus Ansible and Linux
• Practical delivery experience. Certifications alone are not enough for this role.
