Cloud Architect

Role Description The Cloud Architect will design, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions that support O2 Premium Villas & Apartments’ digital platforms and internal systems. This part-time, remote role includes defining cloud architecture standards, assessing infrastructure needs, and collaborating with software development and operations teams to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable solutions. The Cloud Architect will oversee integration between various applications and services, manage cloud resources, and contribute to cost optimization and performance improvements. The role also involves documenting architecture decisions, advising stakeholders on technical options, and supporting troubleshooting and continuous enhancement of cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Solution Architecture and Architecture skills to design robust, scalable cloud environments and frameworks.
• Candidates should possess Infrastructure-related skills, including cloud infrastructure planning, network configuration, security controls, and resource management.
• Candidates should possess Software Development skills to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and support cloud-native and API-driven solutions.
• Candidates should possess Integration skills to connect disparate systems, applications, and data sources within a cohesive cloud ecosystem.
• Experience with major cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, documentation skills, and the capacity to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is desirable.
• Prior experience in real estate, property management, or related industries is a plus but not required.
