🔐 AWS Cloud Security Architect | 6-Month Contract | London/Remote

I’m currently looking for a hands-on AWS Cloud Security Architect to join a major financial services environment on an initial 6-month contract .

📍 London – 1/2 days per week

💻 Remote the remainder

📅 6-month contract

This is a role for someone who can architect AND build — not simply produce diagrams or oversee implementation.

What I’m looking for:

☁️ Strong AWS security architecture experience

🛡️ AWS Control Tower & Landing Zones

🔍 AWS Config & CloudTrail

🔑 IAM, KMS & Secrets Manager

🚨 Threat Detection & Security Monitoring

🌐 AWS Network Security / Protection

💻 Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & hands-on implementation

🏦 Strong Financial Services / regulated industry experience

🔐 Data sovereignty, encryption at rest & in transit

📐 AWS Well-Architected Framework

AWS Certified Security – Specialty is highly desirable and, for this requirement, effectively a must-have. CISSP or other relevant security certifications would be a strong bonus.

You’ll also need to be comfortable speaking directly with clients , explaining complex security decisions clearly and advising them on AWS best practice.
