Cloud Devops Engineer

Jobdesc:

Git and GitLab Repository Management

• Use Git as the primary version control system for infrastructure code, scripts, pipelines, and configuration

files.

• Manage repositories and collaboration workflows through GitLab.

• Apply Git best practices, including branching, merge requests, code reviews, tagging, and release

management.

• Maintain version-controlled automation scripts, Terraform configurations, and operational documentation.

Kubernetes Platform Operations

• Operate and troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads and platform components.

• Provide L2 operational support for Kubernetes environments.

• Troubleshoot Pods, Deployments, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and resource-related issues.

• Monitor cluster and workload health.

• Support Kubernetes scaling, maintenance, configuration, and day-to-day operational activities.

• Develop automation for recurring Kubernetes operational tasks.

• Apply an understanding of Kubernetes networking, storage, scheduling, and resource management.

Tencent Kubernetes Engine (TKE)

• Operate and maintain Kubernetes clusters running on Tencent Cloud.

• Perform cluster-level and workload-level troubleshooting in Tencent Kubernetes Engine (TKE).

• Support node and node pool management, scaling, maintenance, and configuration.

• Work with Tencent Cloud networking, security, and infrastructure services that support Kubernetes.

• Integrate TKE environments with monitoring, logging, CI/CD, and ITSM platforms.

Monitoring and Operational Improvement

• Support monitoring and alerting for cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes environments.

• Develop automation triggered by monitoring events and operational alerts.

• Review recurring incidents and identify opportunities for automation.

• Improve operational reliability, efficiency, and mean time to resolution (MTTR).

• Maintain operational runbooks and technical documentation for L2 support activities.
