Job Title: Cloud Engineer - AWS

Workplace Type: Hybrid-3 Days Onsite (White Plains, NY)

Employment Type: Contract (6 months) to Direct Hire

In this role, you'll collaborate across various teams to translate cloud standards into scalable, automated, and observable solutions. Required Skills:

• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, and S3
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS SAM, and CloudFormation
• Strong CI/CD automation skills, with experience in GitHub Actions
• Development expertise in Python, Node.js, and/or Java, along with REST API development and middleware integrations
• Understanding of cloud security concepts including IAM, OAuth 2.0, secrets management
• Familiarity with observability tools like Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, and distributed tracing techniques
• Ability to troubleshoot across application, networking, and infrastructure layers

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Spring Boot / Java, Dynatrace, PostgreSQL, and RDS Proxy
• Knowledge of Docker/containerized workloads and AWS Control Tower / Landing Zones
• Exposure to AWS AI services like Amazon Bedrock or AgentCore
• AWS certifications

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Prior experience supporting cloud infrastructure and application workloads in a production environment

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work onsite three days a week in White Plains, NY
• Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, application, and networking layers
