Cloud Engineer Azure Remote (Based at an approved local secure facility). We work US time zones and ask that you're available during those hours, even if that means adjusting your schedule.

This role is responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure that powers our operations. You'll work in a structured, process-driven environment where details matter and every deployment must be reliable. The team operates with high autonomy—you'll own your projects from design through production. We're an internationally distributed team, and this work is primarily asynchronous. You'll partner with engineers across time zones, relying on clear documentation and independent problem-solving.

• Design and deploy Azure cloud architectures including virtual networks, virtual machines, and App Service instances.
• Build serverless applications and automation using Azure Functions and Python.
• Write and maintain SQL queries and Python scripts for cloud infrastructure management.
• Implement and manage security controls across Azure environments.
• Build and optimize continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
• Demonstrated expertise in cloud architecture design and deployment practices.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience securing cloud environments and implementing security best practices.
• Ability to work independently and solve complex infrastructure problems.

Bonus — Not Required

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools or configuration management.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Background in DevOps practices or release engineering.
