Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong knowledge of AWS and Microsoft Azure to manage, maintain, and optimize our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in cloud engineering and a strong background in cloud infrastructure, security, automation, and troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS and Azure.
• Monitor cloud systems and ensure availability, performance, and security.
• Manage cloud services such as compute, storage, networking, and databases.
• Implement and maintain cloud security, access controls, and best practices.
• Automate cloud processes using scripting and Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Support application deployment and CI/CD processes.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, networking, and performance issues.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources and costs.
• Collaborate with IT, Development, Security, and other teams on cloud-related projects.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, Systems Engineering, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, security, and infrastructure management.
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Knowledge of Linux/Windows Server environments.
• Experience with scripting such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, or Kubernetes is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
