Cloud Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with expertise in cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and cloud migrations. This hybrid role is open to both fresh graduates with strong logical thinking skills and experienced professionals (senior roles available for candidates with 3+ years of experience). Join us to work on cloud migrations, leverage container technologies like ECS and EKS, and gain exposure to AWS native tools and Generative AI innovations!

What will I be doing?

1. Cloud Infrastructure Management:

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud environments on platforms like AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Utilize containerization tools such as Docker and orchestrate workloads with Amazon ECS and Amazon EKS.
• Optimize cloud architecture for scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

2. Cloud Migration:

• Plan and execute migrations from on-premises systems or other cloud providers to AWS.
• Assess workloads, identify migration strategies, and ensure minimal downtime.
• Leverage AWS services such as AWS Migration Hub, Server Migration Service, and DMS.

3. Performance Tuning and Optimization:

• Monitor and optimize performance of cloud resources and containerized workloads.
• Conduct benchmarking, load testing, and fine-tune infrastructure for efficient operation.

4. Container and Kubernetes Expertise:

• Implement and manage containerized applications using Amazon ECS or Amazon EKS.
• Configure Kubernetes clusters to handle large-scale workloads and ensure high availability.
• Automate deployment pipelines for containerized applications.

5. Security and Compliance:

• Implement security best practices for containerized applications and cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

6. Explore AWS and Generative AI Innovations:

• Gain exposure to Generative AI tools and frameworks.
• Experiment with AWS’s latest technologies, including serverless architectures, containers, and AI services.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in AWS, with hands-on experience in ECS and EKS for managing containerized workloads.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of networking (VPC, Subnets, Route 53) and cloud security best practices.
• Logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Fresh graduates with a passion for cloud infrastructure and container technologies are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Skills:

• Relevant AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a strong plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Senior candidates (4+ years) should demonstrate expertise in large-scale cloud migrations, container orchestration, and advanced cloud architectures.
