About the Job

Our client, a premier global digital ecosystem operating across multi-cloud platforms, is seeking a dedicated Cloud Infrastructure Engineer. In this role, you will take ownership of day-to-day public cloud operations across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.

By managing account provisioning, resource configurations, and internal user support, you will ensure seamless multi-cloud governance and operational reliability while empowering development teams to scale efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Request Management: Review, process, and verify new public cloud accounts, projects, and subscription requests through Jira workflows in compliance with governance and security policies.
• Configuration & Build Operations: Execute IAM, networking (VPC, subnets, security groups), and storage configurations following established change management procedures and operational runbooks.
• User Support & Troubleshooting: Provide first-line technical support for internal cloud users, leveraging documentation and tracking inquiry trends to expand organizational FAQs.
• Documentation & Runbook Maintenance: Create, maintain, and update operational runbooks and technical knowledge bases on Confluence.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience operating and configuring public cloud environments across two or more major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI).
• Practical experience with IAM management and core cloud networking setups (VPC, subnets, security groups).
• Practical experience managing operational tasks via Jira or equivalent ticket management tools.

Soft Skills:

• Ability to execute technical tasks accurately according to established runbooks and procedures.
• Strong communication skills for supporting internal users and resolving technical inquiries.

Language Requirements:

• Japanese: Basic capability nice to have.
• English: Business-level proficiency.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Associate-level or higher cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI).
• Practical familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Experience leveraging modern AI/LLM tools (e.g., Claude Code) to optimize operational efficiency.
• Background in internal helpdesk, user support, or security-focused cloud operations.
