Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on experience in both AWS and Microsoft Azure, along with knowledge of on-premises infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, securing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure while supporting integration with on-premises environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Manage hybrid cloud environments integrating AWS/Azure with on-premises infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud architectures.
• Manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, Route 53, CloudFront, SQS, SNS, and KMS.
• Manage Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Network, Azure Storage, Azure Active Directory/Entra ID, Azure Monitor, Key Vault, Load Balancer, Azure Functions, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Configure and manage VPN, networking, firewalls, DNS, load balancing, and connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments.
• Work with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Support containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring, logging, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Identify opportunities for cloud cost optimization and performance improvement.
• Follow cloud security, compliance, governance, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, security, and deployment issues.
• Prepare and maintain HLD/LLD, architecture diagrams, infrastructure documentation, and operational procedures.

Required SkillsAWS

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure.
• EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Route 53, CloudFront.
• AWS networking, security, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework.

Microsoft Azure

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure.
• Azure Virtual Machines, VNet, Storage, Entra ID/Azure AD, Azure Monitor, Key Vault.
• Azure networking, security, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Knowledge of Azure architecture and governance.

Hybrid & On-Premises Infrastructure

• Experience working with on-premises servers and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud architecture.
• Experience with VPN, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, routing, and network security.
• Knowledge of technologies such as BGP/OSPF is an advantage.

DevOps & Automation

• Terraform / CloudFormation / ARM / Bicep.
• Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI/CD.
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• Scripting/programming knowledge in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

Security

• IAM and identity management.
• KMS / Key Vault / Secrets Management.
• Cloud security and access controls.
• Security monitoring and audit logging.
• Knowledge of WAF, firewalls, vulnerability management, and security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• AWS and/or Azure certifications are preferred.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments.
• Experience with cloud migration projects.
• Experience with high availability, disaster recovery, and multi-region architectures.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have:

• Strong hands-on experience in both AWS and Azure.
• Practical experience with on-premises infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, automation, and infrastructure management.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues independently.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Important Requirement

The role requires practical experience across both AWS or Azure, along with on-premises/hybrid infrastructure exposure.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year

Experience:

• AWS cloud infrastructure: 5 years (Required)
