Cloud Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and support enterprise cloud architecture solutions across AWS and Azure.
• Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Develop, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated delivery processes.
• Use GitHub for source control, infrastructure, development, and delivery workflows.
• Partner with senior architects, engineering teams, technology teams, and business stakeholders on architecture decisions.
• Evaluate different technical approaches and clearly communicate architecture decisions, tradeoffs, and recommendations.
• Ensure cloud solutions align with enterprise security, governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Design scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering productivity through automation and AI-enabled solutions.
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical discussions, and design sessions with senior architects and technical leaders.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of enterprise cloud platforms and infrastructure.

Required Qualifications & SkillsAWS & Azure Cloud Architecture

• 5+ years of hands-on cloud and architecture experience.
• Strong experience designing and implementing solutions using AWS and Azure.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, enterprise architecture, scalability, security, networking, and integration.
• Ability to explain architecture decisions, technical tradeoffs, and design considerations.

Terraform / Infrastructure as Code

• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience building and managing real-world cloud environments using Terraform.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure design, reusable modules, environment management, and infrastructure automation.
• Ability to take ownership of infrastructure architecture and implementation.

CI/CD, GitHub & Automation

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with CI/CD and automation.
• Experience designing, implementing, improving, or maintaining automated deployment pipelines.
• Strong experience with GitHub and modern software/infrastructure delivery practices.
• Experience automating infrastructure and application deployment processes.

Architecture & Solution Design

• 5+ years of demonstrated architecture or solution design experience.
• Experience designing solutions from requirements through implementation.
• Strong understanding of enterprise/cloud architecture principles.
• Ability to evaluate multiple technical approaches and make architecture recommendations.
• Strong understanding of security, governance, compliance, scalability, availability, and operational considerations.
